Allison McCoy is a seasoned executive with more than 20 years of marketing, event planning, business development, and client services experience in the gaming industry. Allison got her start in gaming as director of industry development for Global Gaming Expo (G2E) where she managed the event’s conference program. In her first year in this role, Allison was named Rookie of the Year and ultimately grew the G2E conference program by more than 30% in four years. From there, she joined Spectrum Gaming Group as vice president where she identified and pursued new business development opportunities and worked in partnership with various export promotion agencies and foreign government agencies to develop and execute the company’s international business plan.
After leaving Spectrum, Allison joined The Innovation Group where she worked closely with the TIG partners in the ongoing pursuit of new global business opportunities and managed TIG’s Emerging Leaders of Gaming (ELG) program. ELG was created to support young executives on the path to industry leadership through education, networking, and other career development opportunities. In 2021, Allison became an independent contractor and was tapped to temporarily return to G2E to help redevelop and execute its conference program. Currently, Allison continues to manage ELG, including its annual 40 Under 40 recognition program, works with the Association of Gaming Equipment Manufacturers (AGEM) as the director of membership and events, and is the director of events for the National Council of Legislators from Gaming States (NCLGS), the only organization of state lawmakers that meets regularly to discuss issues regarding gaming. Allison has most recently begun working with professional sports bettor Spanky Kyrollos to continue to grow Bet Bash, the sports gambling networking event he founded more than three years ago.
